Black History Month Genealogical Events
February is Black History Month. A number of genealogical events are happening this month that can help you trace your African-American ancestors.The International African American Museum is holding several webinars on genealogy challenges, Low country genealogy, colored troops, and Charleston SC domestic slave trade. - "Finding Black History in Our Family Tree" on 19 February 2023 with Andre Kearns, member of the NGS Board of Directors and chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.
