Hometown History Expo at Genesee Country Village
Hope you are having a great summer and still have Saturday, 3 August available for visiting the Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford. RGS will be participating in their new event -Hometown History Expo from 10 am to 4 pm that day. Come to the John L. Wehle Gallery where you will be able to learn about over twenty local history organizations and societies. Understand what they have to offer regarding historical information and records. Find out if they may offer clues to your family research. Local towns represented include Lima, Webster, Macedon, Caledonia, Avon, Parma, Wheatland, Dansville, Chili, Ontario, and Sodus Bay. The Military History Society of Rochester will be participating as well as Wyoming and Wayne Counties, the Holland Land Office, Harriet Tubman House, Charlotte Lighthouse, and Farmington Quaker Meeting House Museums.It's going to be a great day.
