Scanning Event for Members 15 April

Exciting New Event for Members
Scanning & Research Help Night
15 April at Westfall Rd. FamilySearch Center

RGS members get an extra event this year! We are partnering with the Westfall Road FamilySearch Center to offer you a Scanning and Research Help Night. Experienced RGS members will be available to help you scan, search, and solve anytime between 6:30 and 9:00 pm on the 15th of April. Scan up to 25 pages/photos. Ask your questions so we can also help you break through your brick wall(s). Attending members will have access to FamilySearch.org records and resources. And it’s all free to RGS members.
This is a wonderful opportunity to preserve your historical documents and find more clues to unlock your family tree. One night. One place. Free. Digitize your family records for future generations, have fresh eyes look at your research, and possibly view records you weren’t able to access at home. This is an in-person event only.
The FamilySearch Center is located at 1400 Westfall Road, between Winton Road and Clinton Avenue. The parking lot and entrance is at the back of the building. Once you’re parked and facing the back of the building, the entrance is on the right.
Pre-registration is required here.  We recommend bringing a thumb drive to store any scanned documents or photos. This is the first time RGS and FamilySearch Center are hosting this event so we don’t know how popular it will be. We ask for your patience and understanding while we assist people on a first come, first serve basis. We anticipate being able to help the first 25 members.
