Call for Participants: RGS Family History/Genealogy Fair – May 2025

We invite RGS members to showcase their genealogy or family history research at our May 2025 General Meeting in a Family History/Genealogy Fair—think Science Fair, but for genealogy!

How it Works:

• No formal presentations—just engaging discussions!
• You’ll have a table to display your poster or poster board and share your research with fellow RGS members.
• Attendees can visit your table, ask questions, and exchange insights.

Prizes for the Top 3 Posters!
There will be prizes for First, Second, and Third Place Posters.

Poster Registration

Present a tri-fold poster on...

• Your favorite genealogy resource/tool
• An individual you have conducted family history/genealogy research
• A family that you have conducted  family history/genealogy research
• Significant family history/genealogical event
• A genealogical/family history trip
• Family reunion
• A genealogy/family history research method
• Military service/SAR/DAR
• Location
• Archival project
• Genealogical/family history photo project
• Family heirloom or keepsake
• We encourage ideas beyond the list provided above!!!

Tri-fold Poster Information

• Tri-fold Poster Board that can sit free standing on top of a table.
• Example tri-fold board, example on Wikipedia .
• Easels will not be provided by RGS.
